Regular Hunting

Family
Married, with or without children, or single with children under 21

  1. Full hunting and social privileges for the member, spouse, and children under age 21.
  2. May vote or hold office after the first year of membership (one vote per family).
  3. At the Masters’ discretion, may also obtain and pay for hunting privileges for a groom compensated to hunt the member’s horse or chaperone a minor in the hunting field. Grooms may hunt only once a week.

Single
Unmarried, with no children under 21

  1. Full hunting and social privileges.
  2. May vote or hold office after the first year of membership.

Student
Full-time high school, college, or graduate student

  1. Full hunting privileges for the member and spouse.
  2. Full social privileges for the member and spouse.
  3. May not vote or hold office.

Social

Non-Voting

  1. Member and family are invited to all social events, including after-hunt tailgates and Hunt Breakfasts.
  2. Adults may hunt five times per season with advance notice to the Masters.
  3. Unlimited Walk and Talks and summer trail rides at no extra cost.
  4. Unlimited hunting for children under 18 (family membership only).
  5. May not vote or hold office.

Voting

  1. Member and family are invited to all social events, including after-hunt tailgates and Hunt Breakfasts.
  2. Adults may hunt five times per season with advance notice to the Masters.
  3. Unlimited Walk and Talks and summer trail rides at no extra cost.
  4. Unlimited hunting for children under 18 (family membership only).
  5. May vote or hold office after the first year of membership (one vote per family) and upon the Treasurer’s receipt of an initiation fee.

Limited Associate

  1. Must be a full hunting member in good standing of another club and live outside the Farmington area.
  2. May hunt one day a week throughout the season.
  3. May cap an additional five times per season.
  4. Invited to all social events.
  5. Must renew the intention to hunt annually upon invitation from the Masters.
  6. This is an individual membership only.
  7. May not vote or hold office.

Non-Resident

  1. Must live outside the state of Virginia.
  2. May hunt three times per season.
  3. May cap an additional five times per season.
  4. Welcome at all social events.
  5. May not vote or hold office.

Fees & Dues

Capping Fees

Limit of five caps per person per season.

  • Adults: $100
  • Students: $25

Application Fee

For Regular Hunting and Social Members; nonrefundable and due with the membership application.

  • Student: $0
  • Ages 21–29: $100
  • Ages 30–35: $100
  • Age 36+: $300

Initiation Fee

For Regular Hunting and Social Members; a one-time, nonrefundable fee due 12 months after membership is approved.

  • Student: $0
  • Non-Voting Social: $0
  • Ages 21–29: $150
  • Ages 30–35: $400
  • Age 36+: $700

Annual Dues

Regular Hunting Member

  • Student:
    • Single: $175
    • Married: $325
    • Must be a student as of April 1 of the fiscal year.
  • Ages 21–35*:
    • Single: $625
    • Family: $980
  • Age 36+:
    • Single: $1,700
    • Family: $2,200

Social Member

  • Ages 21–35*: $450
  • Age 36+:
    • Single: $650
    • Family: $825

Limited Associate Member

  • Single: $750

Non-Resident Member

  • $175

*Eligibility for age categories is determined by the age of the member, if single, or the oldest member, if a couple or family.
